This guy makes an assumption that efforts to fix Global Climate change would be successful - but other than that this is good game theory in practice.

Semmelweis reflux
Semmelweis reflex is a bias whereby people have a tendency to reject new information and evidence because it goes against the existing paradigms.
To a certain extent this is another form of resistance to change.
I get Semmelweis reflux. Sometimese when I talk about best practice the notion is often rejected because of resistance to change; and as a result a little bit of sick comes up.

Thoughts on taxation and pricing
I'm thinking about the new system of taxation. 50% administered by the state, or charged by the state and 50% set locally either by councils or by county councils. Instead of government subsidising local councils, local councils will charge the taxes and pass 50% back to central government this would enable areas to compete against each other on taxation basis.
I'm also thinking about systems of pricing for tax or public services whereby price increases have to be announced well in advance with a maximum of 1% over inflation depending on how many years away. So 5% above inflation would have to be announced 5 years in advance.
The question is would this improve price stability or make it worse?

KM & overcoming resistance to change
I am not trying to say that implementing knowledge management as a process is entirely about overcoming resistance to change; but, I am saying that it is about 90% of the coming resistance to change.

Change Shaman
Coming up with the name Change Shaman for website and possibly business, has left me feeling quite excited and ready to book my domain name and website space almost immediately that. I'll have to conquer the time being and give it more thought.

Destruction of beauty
I am very concerned about the story of the destruction of the Mediterranean seabed. Of course, it might be overstated, it could be areas that the repair themselves. But, to me this story seems to be about externalities someone gets to make money destroying the natural habitat. This is because producing sustainable energy is hard work and not tax incentivised. And destroying the earth is easy and often tax free.
Wikileaks
I love wiki leaks. I love the Internet. When I joined the civil service in 2003, my manager told me "do not write anything down unless you would be willing to anyone in the world to see it". This was good advice and I have followed it. Other people could learn to follow this advice.
knowledge management
My skills and knowledge management of improving dramatically as is my understanding. And while I'm improving can help others improve. The importance of capturing, sharing, exploiting, developing knowledge.
Communication
My skills and communications have been improving dramatically, since I've been able to implement: thinking on your feet, pyramid principle, made to stick, and understanding the importance of the know feel do strategy of communications.
Website design
I want to design the website to be easy and intuitive to use, as well as professional inviting and fun. I want it to be easy to navigate with use of colours and pictures and reusable contents. I also want it to be a way of people to navigate around my mind, but also to inspire. On top of that, I do want people to feedback and give comments so that I can further improve what I'm doing.
Error checking
I have to be over to check and double check what I'm doing when I publish. There's a big problem being dyslexic making so many mistakes were writing, even when using voice dictation.
Nearvous
As long as nobody is watching my blogspot I can use it as a cut-and-paste brain dump. Whereas I am a bit nervous about doing that and twitter at the moment.
Better than twitter
The big advantage of using my blogspot rather than twitter is that very few people see my blogspot and I can make adjustments later.
Using my iPhone
I may be up to do quite a bit of stuff here with my iPhone. I can dictate into dragon on my iPhone, which works very well. And then, post thoughts and ideas into my blogspot.
What do I want to say?
I want to get down everything from my past acting, dancing, as well as my corporate skills which I want to sell: Communications, knowledge management, managing change.
Building a website
I am finding building a website are very steep learning curve. Aside from realising how much information is in my head; using Rapidweaver is not as easy as I had hoped.

1st attempt with Rapid Blog
Obviously this is just a test to see how Rapid Blog from Loghound Works. But I can't really get going until Macspeech fix the software - so a lot of this will be moaning about Macspeech. - I have complained to the CEO of nuance.
Nuance bought Macspeech and offered a £40 upgrade - which i an many people like me took up - now I have paid £40 to lose voice recognition!
We all thought that Dragon for Mac would work like Dragon for Windows - I'm thinking I need to go back to windows - but at least I am enjoying Rapid Weaver
